If you are thinking of working with a Financial Adviser but haven’t worked with one before, it can often be difficult to know exactly what to expect.
Everyone has realistic concerns about their finances. From wondering if you have enough money to do the things you want to do now, to wondering whether or not the money you do have will last through to and beyond retirement.
Below is an overview of what you can expect when working with us:
Introduction and an initial meeting
We set up an initial meeting for you to meet one of our Financial Advisers and discuss your requirements. This meeting allows you to go into detail with your expectations and needs so that we can fully understand your current circumstances. This is an opportunity for you to ask us further questions and understand what we do, including getting information about our charges and processes.
Deep dive information gathering
We carry out an extensive deep dive of your financial situation, which involves gathering information about your existing financial arrangements and full personal circumstances. The ultimate aim is to understand your investment knowledge, what your attitude is and what your tolerance is towards investment risk.
Situation analysis and preparing your plan
We then conduct an unrestricted whole of market review which includes a full analysis of current plans, assets, insurance coverage, investment strategies and of course the current tax environment.
We then discuss our proposal and recommendation with you.
Implementation and monitoring
The last stage is to implement our recommendations once you have confirmed the go ahead. Here we organise all of the necessary paperwork and deal with product providers as required.
As a client of Sheards Wealth Management, you will have access to your very own personal secure client site to view your investments and other policies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
